Warning | May 18-21: 7 Avenue Closure – Red & Blue Line service disruptions

From Saturday, May 18 to the very early hours of Tuesday, May 21, 2024, all downtown stations along 7 Avenue, as well as Victoria Park/Stampede Station and a few surrounding stations, will be closed. Shuttle buses will replace CTrain service between affected stations, downtown included. Full CTrain service will be back up and running again before start of service on Tuesday, May 21.

Application process

Our application process is simple; please note, applicants must be six years of age or older to apply:

  1. Fill out an application form (Sections A-G)

  2. Have a medical professional fill out Section G
     
  3. Fax your application to: 403-537-7812 or email your application to calgarytransitaccesseligibility@calgary.ca 
     

Once your application is received we will call you to schedule an in person interview to review your application and determine if you meet eligibility requirements. These requirements are based on your physical and/or cognitive ability to use regular Calgary Transit services.

Calgary Transit Access (CTA) has a policy for guests to Calgary who may need accessible transit services. While our fixed-route fleet is fully accessible, if you are eligible for accessible transit service in your home municipality, you may be able to get temporary service within Calgary city limits from CTA. Please contact our eligibility team at 403-537-7777, option 5 to find out if you meet the criteria for visitor’s service.
