Fall Service Revisions 2008

Calgary Transit is revising the following routes for the summer season, effective September 01, 2008. 

New Routes:
Three new routes are being introduced for the fall season. Route 8 - North Pointe/Brentwood, Route 402 - Silverado and Route 406 - Auburn Bay. Click on any route number below to view its map.

Route Schedule Revision:
In addition to the re-instatement of services removed during summer, the schedules on the following routes have been revised for the fall season. A summary of the revision for each route is tabled below:

Killarney 17 Avenue		 A Monday - Thursday 3:40 p.m. trip and a Friday 1:40 p.m. trip leaving downtown westbound have been added.
7 South Calgary Afternoon rush hour service revised.
9 Varsity Acres/Bridgeland Evening service revised.
16 Palliser Peak hour service revised.
18 Lakeview Midday trip revised to run every 25 minutes.
23 Foothills Industrial An 5:36 a.m. trip from Saddletowne Circle has been added. The 5:41 a.m. trip has been adjusted to leave at 5:46 a.m. Also, midday weekend service added.
25 Whitehorn A 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday service added. 
33 Vista Heights - Marlborough The peak period trips have been revised, the midday service revised to run every 30 minutes.
36 Riverbend A weekday trip leaving Chinook Station at 12:43 a.m. has been added. The Saturday and Sunday evening service hours have been extended.
39 Acadia Peak hour service revised.
53 Signal Hill The 5:25 p.m. trip leaving Bow Trail and 33 Avenue has been adjusted to depart at 5:31 p.m.

The 5:52 p.m. trip leaving Westside Recreation Centre has been adjusted to depart at 5:58 p.m.
55 Falconridge Trip times adjusted all day.
57 Airport - Erinwoods A 5:20 a.m. weekday trip from Whitehorn Station to the airport has been added. Saturday and Sunday service revised.
60 Martindale Trip times adjusted all day.
62 Hidden Valley Express Peak hour service revised.
64 MacEwan Express Peak hour service revised.
78/178 Sundance/Chaparral The peak period service on Route 78 revised to improve schedule adherence.
84 Palliser Peak hour service revised.
108 Richmond Road Afternoon rush hour service revised.
112 Sarcee Road Afternoon rush hour service revised.
118 Hidden Valley The a.m. and midday weekday trips adjusted to improve connections with Route 3. The timepoint at 14 Street and Sandarac Drive have been relocated to westbound Hidden Valley Drive at 14 Street.
129 Arbour Lake Express Afternoon rush hour service revised.
142 Panorama Express One 6:42 a.m. trip and on 4:20 p.m. trip added. Also, peak hour service revised.
148   Peak hour service revised.
179 Cougar Ridge Express The a.m. service has been revised with an added trip. Also, a 4 p.m. trip leaving downtown has been added.
181 MRC North Express Peak hour service revised.
182 MRC South Express Peak hour service revised.
301 Westside Recreation Centre/North Pointe A 5:50 a.m. weekdays trip leaving North Pointe has been added.  The peak hour service have also been adjusted. 
420 Kincora Midday, evening and weekend service added.
The p.m. peak period has been adjusted to run every 25 minutes. 
453 West Springs Weekday evening and weekend service added.
